D.E.A.F., Inc. offers Continuing Education classes to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in a variety of subject areas. Classes are taught in American Sign Language by Deaf instructors.
English:
English 1
Focus is on developing basic vocabulary skills, spelling, penmanship,
and expressive language skills.
English 2
Basic sentence structure, parts of speech, writing simple sentences,
and basic reading skills. English classes meet twice a week for two hours
each night, and last fifteen weeks.
