D.E.A.F., Inc. offers Continuing Education classes to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in a variety of subject areas. Classes are taught in American Sign Language by Deaf instructors.
Driver Education: Driver Education Teaches students the information needed to pass the Registry of Motor Vehicle test for a Learner's Permit. The Independent Living Program staff can assist students with Learner's Permits and finding On-the-Road instruction. Class meets once a week for three hours. We offer Driver's Education when ten or more students are enrolled. **The class will focus on safety, rules of the road and defensive driving,
how to handle emergencies and accidents, the process needed to own a car
(registration, etc), and covering questions and answers from the RMV road
